Cleaning & Maintenance

1. Before cleaning, switch off the power and remove the batteries.
2. Clean the exterior surface of the unit, including the screen, with a soft, dry cloth.
3. If needed, dampen a cloth with rubbing alcohol to clean the surface.
4. Take care not to let the alcohol permeate into the device.
5. Dry with a soft cloth.

Maintenance

1. Replace the batteries promptly when the battery indicator shows they are low.
2. Clean the surface of the Pulse Oximeter before it is used with a patient.
3. Remove the batteries inside the battery cassette if the Oximeter will not be used for a long time.
4. Do not use the device near any flammable substance, in extreme temperatures, or in places with excessive humidity.
