How to use Non Electrostatic Holding Chamber

  • Remove cap of metered dose inhaler (MDI) and insert into the back MDI receptacle of the PARI VORTEX.
  • Shake MDI per instructions.
  • Use with Mouthpiece: Place mouthpiece into mouth. Exhale, depress MDI, and then breathe in slowly and deeply. Hold breath for 10 seconds or for as long as is comfortable.
  • Use with Mask: Apply to face over nose and mouth creating a good seal. Depress MDI and breathe in and out slowly for 10 seconds.
  • Follow physician and MDI instructions before repeating above steps.
